Ladies Golf

Women golfers at Cherry Hill are given the opportunity to enjoy numerous scheduled events throughout the golf season. A Ladies Golf board supervises a wide variety of weekly and interclub events. On Wednesday mornings the 9-hole group plays, and the 18-hole group plays on Thursday mornings.

Guest days, the Ladies Member-Member, match play, blind partners, and beat the Pros are just a few of the scheduled events that populate the Ladies Golf calendar. Luncheons that follow the events are always well-attended.

Club tournaments include the Women’s Club Championship, the Women’s Senior Championship, as well as 18- and 9-hole handicap divisions.

The Cherry Hill contingent of women golfers has been a source of Club pride for many years. As a group they have been a formidable force in both Buffalo District and southern Ontario interclub events. Individuals from the Ladies program at Cherry Hill have won numerous Buffalo District Championships, invitational tournaments as well as the Club’s share of “Champion of Champions” titles, which pits club champions from the Niagara region against each other in an annual event.
