Dining & Catering
The 80-year old clubhouse at Cherry Hill offers a spacious and traditional dining venue with lovely views of the carefully maintained and groomed golf course. Recent renovations, including the installation of a state-of-the-art heating and air conditioning system, provide year-round comfort for dining, banquets and special events.
Dining Hours
The Clubhouse is open for dining from mid-May through mid-October from Wednesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Halfway House is open during the golf season Mondays Through Fridays from 8:00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m. and weekends from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Dress Code
Members and their guests must be properly attired in all areas of the club. Suitable summer attire, including shoes, must be worn in all areas of the clubhouse at all times. No jeans, tee shirts or short-shorts are permitted .Members are responsible for informing their guests in advance about the Club’s dress code.
Dinner Reservations
In order to provide the best service possible, and controlling costs at the same time, members are encouraged to call in advance for dinner reservations: 1-888-817-8827 (toll free from Buffalo) or 905-894-0578 (within Canada). Dining Facilities
The clubhouse has six separate dining locations that can be used individually or together, depending on the need.
The Main Dining Room , with tall windows, two large field stone fireplaces and oak cross beams, can accommodate up to 200 people.
The Porch , adjacent to the Main Dining Room, is brightened by a wall of windows overlooking the patio and the golf course below, seating 60 plus people.
The Patio itself accommodates 60 people plus.
The Grill Room, seats 80 people and is located up from the men’s locker room. You can sit along bay windows overlooking the golf course or in an area in front of a large fireplace. It is the proverbial 19 th hole, where friends recount their recent exploits; members meet old and new friends. The Grill Room includes a U-shaped bar, the walls are adorned with eighty years of Cherry Hill golfing history in plaques, celebrating the champions of the past.
The Board Room , located upstairs over the porch, offers a private setting for meetings and presentations as well as seating for up to 20 people.
The Half Way House is separate from the clubhouse and has its own kitchen serving breakfast, snacks, and luncheons. Hungry golfers can pick up sandwiches, hamburgers, chips and the likes along with assorted beverages. They may sit inside in air conditioned comfort, on the patio or “under the tree” with views of the course in all directions, including the putting green, the first and tenth tees and the ninth and eighteenth greens. It is one of the loveliest places on earth to sit back and reflect on all that is good in life.
Food Offerings
Cherry Hill’s professional food and beverage staff, including the Club House Manager, the Dining Room Supervisor and the Head Chef, are capable of producing a full spectrum of food items for your dining pleasure, including children’s favorites, daily and nightly specials or gourmet dinners.
Special Functions
The Special Function Menu showcases the club’s and chef’s repertoire ranging from breakfasts, lunch, dinner or special occasions. Whether you select the plate service or the popular food station concept, rest assured to get the best. Weddings, showers, anniversaries, Christmas parties and more, are handled in the most professional manner by members of the Cherry Hill staff. Events of 30 or more people must be approved by the Board of Directors. A request for the Board’s approval must be made in writing no later than 30 days prior to the event.
