About Us

Cherry Hill Club, located in picturesque Ridgeway, Ontario, is recognized as the best golf course in the Niagara area and rated among the top 20 private golf clubs in Canada. It was founded in 1922 by a group of gentlemen from Buffalo, New York who owned summer homes on Lake Erie’s Canadian shoreline, with a vision to create an exceptional private golf course. The golf course was designed by Walter J. Travis, and has been regularly modernized and updated, while remaining true to the Travis vision and strategy. We are committed to continuous improvement and most recently, upgraded the golf course in 2019 and the clubhouse in 2020, to ensure we provide an outstanding Member experience.

We value our history and traditions which are an important part of the Cherry Hill Club experience. As part of our tradition, we have maintained a warm, friendly and welcoming Membership, consisting of both Canadians and Americans.  Other Club traditions include, no tee times, ready access to play founded upon our small Membership with no outside play. The Club has outstanding golf practice facilities, with a driving range measuring over 100 yards, a multi-station short game practice area and large putting practice green.

The Club is situated eight kilometres/five miles from Lake Erie’s Canadian shore and is 16 kilometres/10 miles from the Peace Bridge international crossing to Buffalo, New York. The Club is also approximately a two hour drive from Toronto, Ontario. Cherry Hill Club is a member of Golf Canada and the USGA.

Cherry Hill Club is in a strong financial position, with no debt and there is no food and beverage minimum.
